Episode 5 Winter

Winter always brings Christmas with it. And Christmas brings it’s own anxieties.

Charlie and Tori share their Christmas wishes.

Charlie’s family really is shit!

Charlie breaks Tori’s heart.

Nick is there for Charlie.

Nick’s family is the best.

Tori and Nick reassure Charlie.

Elle and Tao have an important talk.

New Years Eve arrives.

I enjoy Charlie and Nick being reunited and Charlie meeting Nick’s family. While I also pine for the missing Olivia Coleman.

I love that Tori creeps into Charlie’s room on Christmas morning.

Them sharing what they wish the day would bring them because their family is shit and the day will suck is both sad and sweet.

The voice texts between Charlie and Nick, wishing each other Happy Christmas and checking on each other, are adorable.

The look on Tori’s face cracks me up. It is so clear that she doesn’t think much of the two cousins and is barely holding her tongue.

And poor Charlie looks miserable. I am curious how Oliver scored the seat at this end of the table, tho.

The puppy is cute. Nick and Charlie are cuter.

But Isaac calling them out is my fav thing. And so something I would do.

Darcy looks fabulous!! I LOVE the suit and suspenders!

Charlie’s family really is shit (NOT Tory!) and his Mom really did not make it any better.

While I feel bad for Tori, I don’t blame Charlie for leaving. I would have left, too. But Charlie, TAKE TORI WITH YOU!!

I love that Charlie knows he can go to Nick when he gets overwhelmed. Even on Christmas.

And I love Nick’s family (NOT David). They really are the best. I miss Olivia Coleman, tho!

I love how much fun Charlie and Nick are having in this scene. I also love how much fun Joe and Kit are having in this scene.

Charlie and Nick really are so damn adorable.

Y’all! They are watching the Doctor Who Christmas Special, The Runaway Bride (2007). It’s the one where Ten and Donna meet for the first time, and one of my fav Doctor Who episodes. And I just can’t!!

So much respect to Nick and Tori for working together to convince Charlie that he is not a burden. That he needs to know that he can come to either of them at anytime. With anything. And they will be there.

I am not Trans, so I can only imagine what the dysphoria is like for Elle. But I am so proud of her for being honest with Tao about what is going on with her.

And I love that Tao is willing to discuss what Elle is comfortable with doing. He’s such a sweet guy.

I love how excited the Friend Group is at seeing Charlie back from treatment, at the News Eve Party.

I love that Nick stays close to Charlie throughout the party, making sure he is comfortable and knows that he is safe.

I mean, look how happy Isaac and Charlie are to be back together. This is a deep and wonderful friendship.

And I love that James comes to ring in the New Year with Isaac, making it clear that he knows it’s just as friends and is okay with it. I really do love their friendship!

See you next time for Body
