Episode 7 Salt In The Wound

The wounds our gang are dealing with definitely get deeper.

Clary faces just how far away Jace is after he drops her off a building.

Jordan must face Simon and Maia after they discover his true identity.

Alec has to face the truth of Jace after Clary finally confesses and they capture Jace.

Simon gets double the betrayal after Luke confesses that he is the one that called the Praetor Lupus.

Magnus lets his guilt over Jace get in his head. Until Catarina intervenes.

The one wound to heal is Magnus and Alec after a very sweet moment of apologies and clinging to each other.

And I am split as I rejoice in Malec’s makeup moment, yet despair over Jace still being lost to us.

I cannot believe that Jace dropped Clary off the top of a building. Okay, I know it’s not Jace in control. But still…

Even more, I cannot believe that she survived, was conscious, able to get to her phone, and call Simon for help.

Poor Jordan. He knows he fucked up. And you can tell how bad he feels. Someone needs to cut this guy some slack and let him explain himself.

Simon, I love that adorable face. But you really need to let Jordan explain.

Alec, look! Magnus is here and helping you. Even after all the bullshit you put him through.

For the love of the Angel, say you’re sorry and do some serious ass kissing. Because, as much as I adore that face, right now I am thinking you do not deserve that sweet and loving Warlock.

This brooding look Alec gets as Clary begins her confession is both intense and beautiful.

This look tells me that Magnus has figured out exactly where she is going, tho.

This glare that he gives Simon, is intimidating as hell. If I were Simon, I would have shut up too. But, also, it’s HOT!

I love that Alec was completely understanding and forgiving after Clary confessed about Jace.

I read once, that Matt said that when Alec says ‘I would have done the same thing.’ He’s talking about Magnus. I’m still trying to verify this. But the way Magnus looks at him makes me think that there might be some truth to it.

I hate how worried and scared they all look as they talk about Jace being the Owl and needing to find him. But I especially hate how guilty Magnus looks and how it is making him pace circles.

I’m so proud of Alec for apologizing to Magnus. And Magnus for also apologizing. I just love these two so much.

Magnus, Alec is right! You can’t blame yourself. This is Lilith’s fault. Not yours.

The way these two cling to each other, the way Alec squeezes his eyes shut and tightens his arms around Magnus is so sweet and heartbreaking.

The way Magnus sinks into Alec, the way his head comes to rest so perfectly against Alec’s neck and shoulder. So perfet and beautiful! Harry and Matt really kill this scene!!

Guys! I really love Jordan (Kyle)! Yeah, he messed up, but he changed and is trying to set it right. and I love that.

Catarina - Don’t act like you’re some 40 year old Warlock. You’re Magnus Bane.

Catarina encouraging Magnus and telling him to think outside the box is excellent advice! I adore her so damn much and wish she had been on more. Do we think she’d be open to having a close friendship with an AroAce who likes to hang out but isn’t interested in sex or love? Asking for a friend…

I love how her words give Magnus a new determination. Catarina knew exactly what to say to her friend.

I am proud of Luke for being honest with Simon and confessing to being the one who called in the Praetor Lupis.

You have to give it to Clary. Sacrificing her freedom for Jace, Izzy, and Alec in the hope that Jace can be saved.

Magnus’ “This is certainly a surprise” and the look on his face when Clary’s portal drops Alec, Izzy and Jace in his apartment is hilarious.

Maia, you know what it’s like to turn and not have control. You need to remember that Jordan was a new wolf when he attacked you. And could have been on his own, for all you know.

Jace! You need to fight this! Alec is your Parabatai and you should NOT be talking to him like that!

I’m always intrigued with this look on Alec’s face when Jace is saying all that shit. It’s the perfect cross between hurt and disgusted.

This look on Magnus’ face as he watches and listens to Jace! You can just see that Magnus would be unstoppable and scary when properly pissed off.
